Durant sa carrière dans le social, une envie envahit Fabienne Ferrer de travailler dans l’art. Elle ressent l’irrépressible besoin d’exprimer quelque chose. C’est à la retraite qu’elle se jure d’essayer de créer de ses mains. Elle passe quelques temps dans un centre culturel à Mandelieu-la-Napoule à prendre des cours de dessin et de sculpture. Depuis toujours, elle a une facilité à façonner ce qu’elle imagine. Puis, il y a ce concours organisé pour un golf renommé. Elle le remporte avec, ce qui deviendra sa pièce phare, une plongeuse.
Avec beaucoup de patiente et de passion, elle s’adonne à sa nouvelle activité avec ardeur. Un bouche-à-oreille nait. Les oeuvres, qu’elle créé dans son atelier, sont exposées dans des lieux prestigieux : Les Thermes Marins de Monte-Carlo, l’Hôtel de Paris de Saint-Tropez, le Château Sainte Roseline, le restaurant Chez Bruno à Lorgues, la Réserve de Beaulieu… et ainsi, elle vend à travers le monde.
Elle aime penser que les spectateurs puissent regarder ses oeuvres sans se poser de question, en appréciant simplement les couleurs, les motifs et la rondeur de ses pièces. Qu’ils y voient le reflet d’une joie de vivre et une échappé dans leur imaginaire.

During her career in the social sector, Fabienne Ferrer developed a profound desire to work in the art field. She felt the irrepressible need to express her thoughts through creative expression, so in her retirement she swore to herself that she would create with her hands. She spent many years in Mandelieu-la-Napoule's cultural center, learning new techniques in drawing and sculpture classes. She always had an ease for shaping what she imagined into visual pieces. After winning a renowned art competition for a golf course, she completed her flagship piece - the diver lady.
With a lot of patience and passion, she now devotes herself to her new-found creative outlet with enthusiasm. Through word of mouth, her name and credibility has soared. Her artworks have been exhibited in prestigious locations across the French Riviera such as Les Thermes Marins of Monte-Carlo, the Hôtel de Paris in Saint-Tropez, the Château Sainte Roseline, the restaurant Chez Bruno in Lorgues, the Réserve de Beaulieu, etc. Which has led to her pieces being sold and displayed across the world.
Fabienne Ferrer likes to imagine that people view her artworks without asking questions. Instead she hopes they appreciate and immerse themselves in the colors, patterns and roundness of her pieces. So that they can take a breath, reflect on the joy of living and find an escape in their imagination.
